Luiz Rocha "Espiga", clarinet and bass clarinet
Musician, clown and teacher, has started playing with music at 11 years old, with a classical guitar, but the ultimate passion for the sounds took place when he discover the clarinet and winds.
He plays the clarinet, bass clarinet and classical guitar.
Born and raised in Brasilia, with all the influences that this city absorbs, he has toured and played around Brazil and Europe, has directed music and written songs for theater and movies, has taught music to children and actors, has worked as a clown in hospitals and streets. In a couple of accidents, has stepped the stage as an actor.
Currently playing in Qbamba, he takes his music around the world as a duo, trio or quartet .
